We try to make sure all the animals get love and attention while waiting for adoption. Socializing is very important, it will increase their chance of adoption, especially for the animals that are not adopted right away and have to spend long hours in a confined space.
If you are interested in volunteering for the animal care program, please drop by the shelter during our public hours and ask to fill out a new volunteer application or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will contact you.
If you would like to volunteer for any one of our following Special Events throughout the year:
•Community Events •Fairs •Fundraisers •Accompanying Pets to Mobile Adoption locations –Pets Mart or other Satellite Locations
Please visit our Events & Calendar page for more details.
The goal of the Foster Program is to assist cats and dogs in need and increase their chances for adoption.
Foster parents provide temporary care for cats, kittens, dogs and puppies in their own homes. Some animals need as little as two weeks of care, while others may need care for up to three months.
Fostering is a rewarding experience. By offering your time, energy and home to an animal in need, you prepare the animal for adoption into a permanent home as well as help prevent overcrowding in our shelter.
